About the foundation
After graduating with a BA in Sociology and Business from Kingston University in London, I was given the opportunity to study for an MSc in Sociology at the University of Oxford. What attracted me to the faculty here was that its main focus was on sociological research with implications for social policy and public administration.
Some of the lecturers are heavily involved in the topic of ethnic minority integration, which is also my academic interest.
Because I think it is important to see social problems from the perspective of those they directly impact, I try to volunteer. In particular, working with children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the Czech Republic and the UK has been a great experience.
After graduation I plan to return to the Czech Republic and would like to gain work experience in both the public and private sectors.
