About the foundation
My name is Eva Brichtová and I come from Sokolov, where I also graduated from the local high school. During my studies at the grammar school I found a passion for natural sciences and realized that science would be a profession that would fulfill me. My bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Chemical Technology in Prague and especially the opportunity to participate in research at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the CAS during my studies only made me believe that. Now, also thanks to the generous support of the Krsek Foundation, I have the opportunity to continue my studies in chemistry in the research-oriented MPhil in Chemistry programme at the University of Cambridge, where I will focus on the mechanism of protein and peptide folding and aggregation.
