I grew up in a small village near Mariánské Lázně, where I attended the local grammar school until I was seventeen. It was then that I managed to get a scholarship to UWC high school in Canada, where I graduated. This was followed by four years of Global and East Asian Studies at Colby College in Maine, USA. As part of this study, I spent a year at Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan, expanding my language skills. After graduating from SA, I joined the logistics department of AB InBev in Prague for a year. Now, thanks to a scholarship from the Krsek Foundation, I can study for an MSc in Global Governance and Diplomacy with a focus on international energy policy at Oxford University in the UK. In the future I would like to work in the field of energy policy for a multinational organisation. In my spare time I like to cycle, run, ski and play chess.
