I come from the small town of Lázně Bohdaneč near Pardubice. During my studies at an eight-year high school I became interested in the practical application of mathematics, which eventually led me to study economics at the Institute of Economic Studies at Charles University. Over time, I began to focus mainly on finance and I supplemented my newly acquired theoretical knowledge with practical experience from a one-year internship in financial controlling at O2 Czech Republic. I have always had the ambition to study at prestigious foreign universities, as they allow you to meet the best experts in the field and at the same time create a motivating environment that pushes you further. In the end, I decided to pursue the Master in Banking and Finance program at the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, and thanks to the Krsek Foundation, I am able to finance this study. After graduation, I would like to gain experience abroad and then return to the Czech Republic to participate in the development of small and medium-sized companies through consulting. My hobbies include scouting, which allows me to meet new people, get inspired by them and grow personally.
